Collection and use of personal information from customers, suppliers and other contractors
Please note that the personal information you provide us with will be collected and used, as this is vital for entering into and executing a possible agreement with you. This applies to both our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer, we will use your information to enable us to prepare a quotation for you, t determine the specifications or requirements certain matters or services must comply with, supply certain matters or to carry out work for you, to invoice you and to be able to communicate easily and clearly about the execution aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal information is also required for the creation and execution of the agreement. In case of purchasing, the above is required to inform you of the specifications or requirements a certain matter or service must meet as far as we are concerned, to be able to send you a quotation request or place an order with you, to pay your invoices, and to communicate easily and clearly about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to divulge your personal information to us. However, if you do not supply us with personal information, or the personal information supplied is insufficient, it may be possible that we cannot facilitate the matters and services described above.
Transfer to third parties
It is possible, in connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, that we are required to supply your personal information to parties who supply us with parts, materials and products, or carry out work as part of our agreement. In addition, we use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchasing administration, and your personal information is part of this. For this reason, your personal information is divulged to our server space provider. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and its additional storage options for e-mails and other files.
Personal information retention period
If you have requested a quotation from us, but did not become a customer after all, we will remove your information no more than one year after our last contact. Also, if we have received a quotation from you, but did not become your customer after all, we will remove your personal information no more than one year after our last contact. If you did become our customer or we became your customer, we will retain your personal information for a duration of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was completely concluded. This period of seven years is pursuant to the duration.
We are obligated to retain our administration for the Dutch Tax Authorities. We will delete your personal information after this period.
You have the right to request us to view your own personal information. If there is cause for the above, you may also request that we supplement your personal information or amend any inaccuracies therein. Furthermore, you also have the right to request us to delete your personal information, or to limit the use of your personal information. In addition, you may appeal to us regarding the collection and use of your information, and you may submit a complaint to the Personal Data Authority. Finally, you may request to obtain your personal information, or to transfer your personal information to a third party.
